Safer Spaces Policy

Studio the Venue is dedicated to providing a harassment free and safe social experience for everyone regardless of background, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, age, religion or any other characteristic or trait. We do not tolerate harassment in any form. If you are experiencing harassment of any kind, verbal or physical please feel confident that you can approach any bar staff member or security officer for assistance. From the moment you reach out to us we will be with you until such time where you feel safe, whether this be escorting you to your transport or calling authorities. Up to you. We are here to help you.

Perpetrators of any harassment will be removed from the venue for the remainder of the event and at the discretion of venue management banned from attending any future events at Studio Venue. If the incident warrants you will be held on premise until Police arrival. ZERO TOLERANCE.

If you wish to contact us after the event over any incident that occurred that for any reason you did not report on the night or if in the unlikely event you were unhappy with the care you received from our staff or security, we will take action so please contact the General Manager at manager@studiovenue.co.nz.

House Rules

To enable us in providing you with the best experience while you are at Studio the Venue we expect the following from you:

Be respectful and polite to our bar staff, porters, security, technicians. They work hard, often under testing conditions and long hours. Your good manners and patience is much appreciated in enabling them to carry out their jobs.

Do not intentionally damage or vandalize the physical venue space. All damage incurs expense to Studio the Venue and repair bills mean less money available improve the venue for a better future experience for you.

Intoxication will not be tolerated. If you are showing ANY signs of intoxication prior to arrival at our venue we will not allow you entry. Nor will your ticket be refunded.

Illegal substances or weapons will be confiscated and sent to the Police. Direct Police involvement in any such situation is at the discretion of venue management. You will be at the least be removed with a permanent ban or even a prison sentence – so think about it.
